Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam was an American Latin freestyle and dance-pop group formed in 1984. The group consisted of lead singer Lisa Lisa (born Lisa Velez), guitarist/bassist Alex "Spanador" Moseley, and drummer/producer Carlos "Carlito" Velez.
Their debut album, "Cult Jam," was released in 1985 and spawned the hit singles "I Wonder If I Take You Home" and "Can You Feel the Beat." The group achieved mainstream success with their second album, "Spanish Fly," which featured the hit single "Head to Toe" and went platinum.
Throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam continued to release albums and singles, including chart-topping hits like "Lost in Emotion" and "All Cried Out."
